The mission of the Worcester Chamber Music Society is to perform the finest chamber music and to make those performances accessible to the greater Worcester community. The ensemble is dedicated to increasing public awareness and support for the chamber music repertoire through concerts, educational, and community outreach programs. In addition, we are committed to the nurturing and encouragement of young musicians by providing educational outreach programs, performance opportunities, training, and scholarships for the advanced study of music.

Our vision is for all residents of Worcester County to have a deep appreciation of chamber music and an awareness of the need for arts education for all of our youth.

Mini-residencies are scheduled at public schools across Worcester County. Each residency involves workshops with student ensembles and a concert given by WCMS.
